QIf my opponent chooses option 3, can they still put followers onto their field or summon tokens with cards like Death's Breath and Pinion Prayer?
AYes. Playing a spell or ability isn't playing a follower. However, some abilities do involve playing a follower. For example, Amerro, Spear Knight's On Evolve ability says, "Select a Heroic card in your cemetery and play it for 0 play points." Your opponent can't put followers onto their field with such abilities.
QIf I have 2 copies of this follower on my field at the start of my end phase, does my opponent have to choose 2 different options?
ANo. Your opponent can choose the same option twice, which would essentially be the same as choosing that option once.
