To ensure a fair gameplay environment for all Shadowverse: Evolve players, the following restrictions will be implemented across various formats.
The restrictions of the following cards will be lifted.

Vortex Dragon, Gingerbread House, and Aenea, Amethyst Rebel were previously restricted as they allowed their respective classes and universe to have an overwhelming presence in the competitive scene. With the release of recent booster sets, we believe their strength has since evened out, and have decided to lift the restrictions on these cards.
The following card will be restricted to one copy per deck.

Disdain Dragoncraft has a strong influence on the metagame thanks to its explosive burst playstyle, aiming for victory by increasing maximum play points in the early game, then utilizing the ability of Galmieux, Ardent Disdain to aggressively play Omen trait cards for reduced cost.
Adherent of Ardor contributes greatly to the staying power of the deck, with its ability able to deal with opposing followers in both the early and late game, allowing the player to safely increase their maximum play points without significant drawback. Disdain Dragoncraft has managed to maintain its oppressive metagame presence as a result.
As such, we have decided to restrict Adherent of Ardor to one copy per deck. This maintains the power of Disdain Dragoncraft, while encouraging other decks and archetypes to flourish in a healthier metagame.
The following cards will be banned.

As we approach a simultaneous release with the Japanese edition and move towards World Masters 2027, we look to align our previous decisions on restricting Cardfight!! Vanguard universe decks, specifically Stardust Trumpeter and Lizard Runner, Undeux.
In addition, Octrice, Omen of Usurpation’s unique ability allows players to select an opponent’s card to play as their own. As the card pool expanded with the release of new sets, the strength of this ability has exceeded the initial expectations during development.
The ability of Octrice, Omen of Usurpation (Evolved) also has significant influence on deck building. These factors have made it such that playing this card is oftentimes an oppressive experience, even during the deck building phase.
In consideration of Loot Swordcraft’s prominence, we expect Octrice, Omen of Usurpation to continue playing a central role in the metagame moving forward, contributing to a restrictive competitive environment.
As such, we have decided to ban the aforementioned cards.
The following card will be restricted to one copy per deck.

Due to the impact of Jiemon, Thief Lord giving Storm to all other Festive followers on the field, Festive archetypes have had an overwhelming presence in the competitive scene. As such, we have decided to restrict Jiemon, Thief Lord to one copy per deck.
The following card will be banned.

Despite being restricted to one copy, Tin Soldier has consistently been the center piece of the Fable archetype with an overwhelming presence in the competitive scene and little counterplay against it. As such, we have decided to ban Tin Soldier.
The above-mentioned restriction updates will take effect starting from November 2.
We hope that these restrictions will allow for more decks and classes to be represented, and will continue to monitor gameplay statistics to ensure a healthy metagame.
