To ensure a fair gameplay environment for all Shadowverse: Evolve players, the following card will be restricted to one per deck starting from November 29.

Since the launch of the sixth booster set, Paragons of the Colosseum, Runecraft has had a strong influence on the metagame thanks to Curse Crafter. Curse Crafter shores up the weaknesses of Runecraft by clearing out aggressive threats while furthering Runecraft's own game plan of filling its cemetery with spells to reduce the cost of both Dimension Shift and Kuon, Founder of Onmyodo.

 

More recently, at the first Grand Showdown in Los Angeles, as well as the Bushiroad Championship Series 24/25 Regional Qualifiers in Sacramento, CA (USA), Runecraft made up almost a quarter of the decks used while also maintaining a strong conversion rate into the top cut.

 

As such, we have decided to restrict Curse Crafter (unevolved) to one copy per deck.

 

We hope that the restriction will allow for more decks and classes to be represented, and will continue to monitor tournament statistics to ensure a healthy metagame.
