Grand Showdown Singapore took place at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on December 21!

With the release of Verdant Steel, many players opted to actualize the battle between Aiolon and Naterra, with Natura Swordcraft and Machina Abysscraft accounting for almost half of the playing field.

Coming into the tournament, Machina Abysscraft was expected to make up a large proportion of the tournament meta, in part due to the popularity of Mono, Garnet Rebel, and because of the deck's straightforward play pattern. However, almost a third of the players opted to bring Natura Swordcraft despite its complexity due to its stability and relatively favorable matchups against the other classes.

 

 

Ultimately, the finals came down to a Natura Swordcraft mirror match between DJ and JasonZ, with DJ taking the eventual win.
