Here's a recap of the new announcements from Grand Showdown Someren 2025.

 

 

2nd-Anniversary Release Tournaments

 

To celebrate our second anniversary, release tournaments will be held from June 20 to July 20 in the Sealed format.

 

 

All participants will receive a card pack containing 1 of 10 cards and an exclusive 2nd-anniversary Bushi Navi flair. The champion will also receive a copy of Demonium, Clash Devil as well as a special version of the 2nd-anniversary Bushi Navi flair.

 

Registrations for the tournament are now live on Bushi Navi.

 

 

Crossover Set: Cardfight!! Vanguard

 

The third crossover set, Cardfight!! Vanguard, will be released on August 15 alongside two crossover starter decks, Sanctuary Knight Brigade and Apocalyptic Fire.

 

 

Each crossover starter deck contains an exclusive bonus card pack featuring 3 alternate versions of 12 of the exclusive starter deck cards! Each box of card packs will also contain a bonus pack with one leader card and one Evolution Point card!

 

 

Introduce your friends to the world of Shadowverse: Evolve in the Cardfight!! Vanguard crossover duo tournaments, which will be held from August 15 to September 7. Players will be required to form teams of two and use different starter decks! All participants will receive a Cardfight!! Vanguard Sentinel card featuring Bellringer Angel.

 

 

To celebrate the release of the crossover set, official Bushiroad stores will also be holding release tournaments in the Sealed format from August 25 to September 25. All participants will receive a Promo Series 12 card pack and a Bushi Navi flair featuring Ren Suzugamori. The champion will receive a promo version of Blue Storm Supreme Dragon, Glory Maelstrom.

 

 

Gloryfinder Starter Decks

 

Two new Gloryfinder starter decks, Luxheart Legends and Treacherous Ambitions, will be released on July 25, 2025!

 

 

Take your Gloryfinder gameplay to the next level with brand-new Gloryfinder-exclusive cards with powerful abilities!

 

Stay tuned to our social media channels and visit Bushiroad Expo events to be the first to see the new Gloryfinder-exclusive cards!

 

 

Showdown Series 4

 

The fourth Showdown Series will run from April to May.

 

 

All participants will receive a promo version of the evolved form of Rabbit Mage. The top 8 players will receive a Super Legendary promo version of Soul Conversion. The champion will receive a Super Legendary promo version of Dragon Oracle and a Bye Card that can be used at the Grand Showdown in June.

 

 

As previously announced during Bushiroad English Conference Winter 2025, Grand Showdowns will now take place simultaneously across all regions. The Series 4 Grand Showdown will be held on June 28 and 29. Entry into the Series 4 Grand Showdown will cost USD 40 and participants will receive an alternate-art version of Nature's Guidance and a supply set that includes a storage box and playmat featuring XXI. Zelgenea, O Great World.

 

The top 32 players will receive a Super Legendary alternate-art version of Nature's Guidance. The top 16 players will receive a Super Legendary alternate-art version of Celia, Sky Commander. The champion will receive an alternate-art version of XXI. Zelgenea, O Great World. The card prizes for each region will also have their own unique hot-stamp color.
